Town Treasurer

The Treasurer/Deputy Treasurer is responsible for the custody, deposit, and disbursement of town funds in compliance with detailed statutory standards and may delegate deposit, investment, record keeping or reconciliation functions to other town officials or employees provided such delegation is in writing and includes written procedures acceptable to the Board of Selectmen. The Treasurer/Deputy Treasurer pays out town money only on orders of the Selectmen.

The Treasurer/Deputy Treasurer submits books, vouchers and statements to the Selectmen and to Plodzik & Sanderson, the town auditors, whenever requested.  Month end reports of the revolving accounts are submitted to the Grafton Volunteer Ambulance Captain, Recycle Center Manager, Recreation Committee Chairman, Budget Committee and Selectmen.
