The Town of Grafton is seeking dedicated residents to fill two volunteer vacancies on the Recreation Committee.
Position Overview
- Role: Recreation Committee Member
- Openings: Two (2) vacant seats
- Type: Volunteer (non-compensated)
- Authority: Appointed by the Grafton Board of Selectmen
- Term Length: Two (2) years, and One (1) year
Core Responsibilities
- Program Planning: Develop community events and seasonal activities.
- Park Management: Advise on maintenance and upgrades for the Recreational Field.
- Budget Recommendations: Propose annual recreation budget priorities to the Selectmen.
- Meeting Attendance: Attend scheduled committee meetings once a month.
- Public Collaboration: Listen to resident feedback to improve town-wide activities.
Requirements
- Residency: Must be a registered voter and resident of Grafton, NH.
- Commitment: Available for evening meetings and occasional town events.
- Mindset: Enthusiastic, community-minded, and collaborative.
