Now Hiring - Road Agent

The Town of Grafton, NH is seeking a Road Agent. This is a full-time position and reports directly to the Board of Selectmen. Duties may include, but are not limited to, management of the Highway Department, coordinating and participating in projects involving the construction, maintenance and repair of town roads and culverts, equipment and garage. Operating snow removal equipment in the winter and various highway maintenance equipment including a road grader in the summer.

This position requires a NH CDL-B license and a current DOT Physical Card. High school diploma or equivalent, formal education or minimum 5 years related experience in highway maintenance and repair, minimum 3 years of experience in supervisory positions directly related to operations, ability to read and follow state and local laws, rules, regulations and policies and procedures, or any combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Compensation package includes town paid health and dental insurance, paid vacation, holiday and sick days, and retirement plan. Residency in the Town of Grafton is not required but a 30 minute or less commute is desired.
